The First Post...oh the pressure!!

SO...here it is...the first post on my new blog.  Oh the pressure O_o  What should I discuss?  Will people turn their heads in disgust at my lack of wit and intelligence? 



Topics I plan to cover in this blog include, but are not limited to:

I tend to talk in run-on sentences...and my grammar is far from perfect.  I am just "someone" out here posting my thoughts.  This blog has been created for the purpose of maintaining my sanity through venting, and for your entertainment.  Feel free to leave comments and even verbally spar with me or other people commenting, just please remember to keep it respectful.


Carry on!  Life will anyway, whether we are ready or not...

    Yes, America. It's hard to imagine just what is it like to actually live there. Little ol New Zealand is right down here in the corner of the world. Even NZ seems to be bombarded with American culture. Is this harmless, or can it be damaging? Do Kiwis need to be part of the global network. My friend Pete embraces the 24/7, permanently switched on, always available, continually connected, globally educated, on top of your game, constantly exceeding expectation, way of life. Sorry Pete, getting carried away. But the sentiment is there. Earthquake weary Christchurch citizens are being urged to look after themselves, and each other. Are we? Really?

      I think Americans are spoiled really. I think we should all have to visit impoverished areas just to see how good we have it, even when we think we don't...
